Guess what came in the mail recently.
And you bet I’ll be going around in these. I do miss my sneakers, more often than I’d like to admit. I’m wearing flats almost every day now, so I can do sourcing and pull outs in relative comfort. I think I’ll keep the sky high heels to a minimum for now.
Ladies and gents, Adidas Slimsoll W. I’m actually familiar with Plimsoll, but I checked to be sure and this says Slimsoll. Well whatever it really is, it’s looking really good.
They’re a girly, purply pink, I love it. I paired them with sockings from Sock & Sole.
And so I went out and got something equally girly and purply. This assymetrical top belonged to my roomie. She very generously threw it my way, declaring that she needs to work out if she wants to fit into it again. It’s so her style, but I’ve begun to love it! I wear it as often as I can, and just my luck that adidas keeps on sending the right colored footwear to go with it.
And of course, wearing it with my favorite Nyx lip shade as of the moment, Louisiana.
How the hell should I pose for such photos? I can’t very well do the crisscross. It was too windy to attempt the scratching head post. So this is my “I hope my fringe stays in place” look. If you know my characteristic voluminous hair, yes, some of the photos here feature ze mane slightly tamed (read: attempts at blow dry).
Oh yes. A change into a pair of leggings (my sister’s most probably, since I never buy them and this is the first time I’ve worn them outside my pathetic attempts of going to gym). And a change of lip color much later (Nyx Paris). Hippie bracelet from Anagon.
Pao said to move so I did.
I look like I’m going to dance in ASAP with the G-Force. I wish noh! (My secret frustration: dancing)
I dunno what the hell I’m doing either.
Pao, I told you to stop taking such large photos of the background, we only want shots of the clothes!
Okay Pao, tara na, the manong guards are looking suspiciously at us. This isn’t a real photoshoot, you know, but maybe my projection worked and they thought they were interrupting the real thing. Sorry, we’re done na. Beh.
Guess what else I have in another box?
A pair of purty, Lisa Frank-color-combinationed Fluid Trainer varsity shoes. Pao got excited because they look they’re going to be good for running. He bent them this way and that to check for flexibility. They’re ultra comfy!
And yes, watch out for more photos of sporty wear from Adidas because Pao and I are going to marathons soon. I swear we will. And I swear I’ll start on that treadmill. Sometime this week.
Know what else I’ll be lemming? More purple stuff:
Yeah I know, I wanted them even before I knew I would be doing something like yoga. I don’t do yoga. At least not yet. But I’ve been hearing from Plana Forma, and then wearing this will be justified at last. It looks so comfy.
I have the Lumina graphic tee, which I want to use for marathons, though I’m not sure if it’s possible. In any case, it looks good enough for simple treadmill attempts. It’s light and the fabric feels soft.
