Wow, it’s been a while since I updated! I blame Nymeria, my laptop, for breaking down on me, and then finally, our internet connections not working on my dusty old PC. On top of that, the last two months have been really busy that I haven’t had time to blog. I know I’ve kept some people waiting for me to continue the Cambodia adventures, the Philippine Fashion Ball and Bench Universe, but that will have to wait ’til I get Nymeria back. So in the mean time, here’s a quick update I’ve managed–it’s relatively easier to share shoe love (though we all may have to hold our breaths for better photos until I get my laptop back).
Check out my latest haul from Vanity Treasures! Truthfully, I don’t have a lot of time to shop for myself. So during my idle time at work, I browse online shops. Shoes are my favorites! I used to be the kind of person who planned outfits around my shoes–I’m still that way sometimes. Which is why I don’t mind pre-ordering because when you do buy statement shoes, you more or less plan outfits around them.
Vanity Treasures is a real treat and a trusted source–there are so many awesome styles to choose from! I love that the owner, Anna, is really helpful about questions, but of course, be sure to read up on the size charts to avoid oft-repeated ones. New styles come out every 1st and 17th of the month, and there’s 3 weeks waiting time.
Totally digging these mod platform wedges. Wore them to last Saturday’s at X Factor Philippines’ top 5 performance night, and of course, I was running around backstage as usual. This pair is a good sport–pretty light while giving me the height boost I can never do without. I thought they were best to pair with some casual shorts (c/o Sabrina!) and a denim blouse. Carmi Daavid actually fixed me with a smokey look so my retro-inspired outfit was vamped up, but unfortunately I wasn’t able to get a photo, huhu.
