For local fashionistas and style bloggers, Zalora is possibly the most popular virtual marketplace. I’m late to the party–what else is new–but I just know Zalora and I will be getting better acquainted in the following months. You see, shopping is my job, but I don’t actually have a lot of patience for it. When I go out to buy something, I must have something in mind already. Which is of course pretty easy when I’m doing it for work, but for myself? Forget it. Shocking as it may seem, I don’t have a lot of motivation in shopping for clothes for myself.
But Zalora makes it seem oh-so-easy and FUN. That’s the most important thing. Here, I can easily filter shopping options. Checking out sales or my favorite brands exclusively is just a click away. Most days, I type in specifics on the search bar or browse by color and I’m very impressed. I haven’t been disappointed with the selections yet! I’ve always loved online shopping, even back when Multiply stores were all making a killing of it. I usually already know what style works for my body type, and I’m fairly petite which is fortunately one of the easier frames to dress up. But if you’re one of the more cautious shoppers, you need not worry with Zalora. My mom shops there with impunity and I couldn’t believe it–she’d return whatever she didn’t like, exchange it for something else or she’d have sizes changed repeatedly. If that kind of fabulous service isn’t enough for you, they’ve gone one step further: The Zalora Pop-Up Store.
Look ma, no cash registers!
This click-and-mortar concept is definitely one-of-a-kind. The store just opened last June 20 at the 5th level of EDSA Shangri-La Mall and you can browse the hottest items that are available in Zalora. You can check out the quality, the fit and the feel the fabrics for yourself. And don’t worry about lugging all those home–your purchases will be delivered to your address. Paying for the purchases will all be done online, because the store has tablets and laptops for customer use.
Check out the pieces that caught my eye and the fashion show that showcased the latest collections from Zalora.

The Zalora Pop-Up Store will be in Shangri-La Mall until September this year. After that, we can only guess where they’ll be next. Exciting times, ne?Related posts:
