Okay. The cat’s out of the bag. I did double duty some time ago and not only styled for a brand I patronize, but modeled for it as well. What can I say? I’m a sucker for shoes. I’d work for shoes. And I did!
Look at them and tell me you wouldn’t have done the same thing. Ladies and gents, I present Ferretti’s July-September lookbook:

That is not as easy as it looks. That was major ab crunching there.
Let me just say I have no aspirations of becoming a model. Okay, wait, right, if I had the height, I probably would have tried as it seems like a fun job. Except I grew up thinking I wasn’t photogenic and now I’d rather have my fun putting together the outfits than posing in them.

These shoes are CUTE! They have red pinstripes and a dainty bow at the slingback. As soon as I saw it, I knew immediately that it had to be picked for a whole outfit shot.
The clothes, by the way, are from Ferretti’s sister company, Simply Felice. They’re not available here in Manila just yet, though, but they will be soon enough!

I discovered that if there’s something Ferretti’s pretty good with, it’s coming up with comfortable shoes.

This was the funnest shot to pose for. Floating lang ang drama. And I especially love these flats with the printed pink bow on it.

I got those beaded wedges for myself. Ethnic is the way to go this season.

The shoes I’m wearing here are ones I got for myself as well. Actually, I took home the whole outfit, except for the necklace, which Liz made sure she was getting for herself, haha! I love love that pair of mustard shorts with a built in leopard belt and the sheer olive green blouse.

I collect pantsuits. Despite the fact that they’re a bitch when you need to pee, they’re just so easy to look elegant in. So yes, I got this, too.

These shoes are gorgeous and surprisingly light and comfy.

Yeah, I had to look like I’m very mataray. Is it convincing? Haha!

Since I didn’t bring an assistant to the shoot (I forgot I was going to model as well so I probably wouldn’t be able to fix things like I usually can since the garment would be on me), Kim helped me with my clothes. First time to work with her!

Just got to say it again, I love this outfit! I’m hoarding sheer stuff nowadays because they’re chic and cool enough to wear on humid days (which is almost everyday).

this is wonderful! you actually look tall in most of the pics! and that is what i wanted to see because I can so relate. Plus it’s realistic and relatable because majority of filipinas are not very tall (unless you’re a half breed or you won the genetic lottery), so it is nice to see shoes that give the illusion of height.
I am not big on heels (you and aliza knows this), but wedges can work for me. I can’t wait to check out this collection.
Thanks Camy! :* I just styled it that way since I know my “shortcomings”. Haha! You know I actually have a long torso and short legs.
)
Anyhow, you must check them out–they have a lot of flats and comfy shoes. I like my heels high, as you know–but I also love wedges, so all that I took home were wedges. Hihi!
ang bongga mo girl!!!:) love it!!! and si tin pala nagshoot!:) congrats babe cu monday!:)
Thanks! See you
MOWDEL!
Love the yellow shorts outfit!
I could never find the perfect shorts for me!
It’s always too loose, it rides up my crotch!
Maybe get denim shorts? The fabric is tougher so maybe it won’t ride up. I almost never wear shorts myself cos I have to work on my legs reaaaally hard to look like that *points at the photo* and it’s just too much of a hassle.
wow ganda! I love all of it! Very good styling
Congratulations!!! Model na next career

Seriously though, I let my tita read your posts and she agrees with me — you look fabulous. I love the olive green top and mustard shorts. I like the flats — especially the black and green one.
Aww, thanks! I have those shoes, comfy siya! They mostly have comfy shoes, I specifically go to Ferretti for them, as otherwise I’d be in stilettos kasi makapal mukha ko.
