I’ve often heard of it before, but it wasn’t until I had gotten into Capoeira recently that I’m finally seeing it up close. To the uninformed, Brasilipinas is an annual celebration–partying the Brazilian way. Good music and DJs, free drinks, food, dance (Afro, Samba, Batucada) and Capoeira exhibitions. And yes, let’s not beat around the bush–GOOD-LOOKING PEOPLE EVERYWHERE (from different parts of the world, too)!
Tickets are a steal at P250.00 each sold at Power Plant Mall Admin Office P1 level, near Milkyway (for inquires please call 898-1702).
Very excited–I’ve always heard about this, but this will be my first Brasilipinas party. It’s also extra special for me because it’s officially the first night of our Capoeira-filled weekend: Saturday will be full of workshops and it’s Batizado (graduation) for Capoeira students on Sunday.Related posts:
